CHAGRIN FALLS -- It’s a little bit of rock and roll, a little bit of classical music and for those involved, a lot of fun.
The 50-piece Chagrin Falls Studio Orchestra is teaming up with the five-member Moody Blues tribute band Time Traveller to present “The Music of the Moody Blues with Full Orchestra” at 8 p.m. June 25 at the Chagrin Falls High School Performing Arts Center, 400 E. Washington St.

plenty of tutorials on youtube, look up "extracting" or "selecting" - "photoshop how to"
well i do some sort of same stuff with still life, still life is obviously much closer up and even macro stuff but i make sure my background is white and the floors white, now in our studio the floors sort of a polished wood but i set up the subject on white paper, what you can do is set up a white floor with the white background, go into photoshop,
Create a curves layer and crank it up really high. Use the layer mask to make it only affect the background. Fine tune your curves layer until you have both your shadows and highlights intact.
If you don't know about layer masks, they're used to cover up certain parts of the layer, keeping the layer intact, but also making parts visible

it would be good to see the image as it is at the moment, but I think you're best bet would be to isolate the subject (and the shadow) from the background and the floor. There are a variety of ways in which you can do this and I know you can do it with masks but I've never tried this way. Personally, when I've done this
