I digress. Back to head shots…
I became quite friendly with many of Sun photographers. I liked them and they liked me. Often, we’d work together on assignments and I learned a lot about photography from watching and occasionally assisting them. We respected each other. With several, I grew increasingly more comfortable having my “head shot done.” Still, I was never entirely comfortable in the studio where all those gorgeous, young, voluptuous girls disrobed and posed.
For most of my life, I’ve dreaded having my picture taken by anyone. I didn’t like myself very much. At times, that was an understatement.

try a kids art shop - you can get paper rolls for A boards... or you could try decorating shops... wallpaper usually has a white background... and you can use both sides...
This might seem like a crazy idea or thought but it's what I have used many times and it works great i never un rolled my full roll either. I don't use paper as it can tare and rip easier than canvus.
find an older movie theater that either updates its screens or has some extra stock in back.
my husband use to work at a movie
